Patient is a 24-year-old female who is active in the performing arts as an actress. For years she had considered having a rhinoplasty, but was concerned that she would lose her facial “character”. We met multiple times regarding what she desired, went over computer imaging of what I proposed, and she provided examples of noses she liked from magazines so I could decipher what she felt was attractive. We decided since she is tall (5’10”) we would not make her nose too small, just refined and straighter with removal of the large dorsal hump to improve her profile, something she has been self-conscious about since she can remember.
Rhinoplasty with septoplasty to straighten the foundation of her nose. She also underwent removal of the large dorsal hump and contouring of her nasal tip cartilages. Nostrils were also adjusted to provide further aesthetic balance. She was ecstatic with the result.
Patient 41
This patient is a 31-year-old female who had a crooked nose with a prominent hump that she wanted straightened and softened. She had been thinking about having her nose done for years but had hesitated as she knew exactly what she desired and had not found the right surgeon. She was interested in our office after reviewing the gallery photos multiple times, and liked the fact that imaging is performed pre-operatively with review of photographs of examples of noses that patients think are attractive. After her consultation she excitedly booked her surgery.
Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty with straightening of both nasal septum and nasal bones, reduction of nasal dorsal hump, and contouring of nasal tip cartilages through suture techniques with rotation of nasal tip complex to match the tip “perkiness” she specifically desired pre-operatively. She is extremely happy with her rhinoplasty result at only one month post-op.
Patient 42
25 year-old-female who for some time has desired a more elegant and fitting nose for her facial features. She would like to make the profile straighter and the tip more defined in order to complement her other features. She specifically admires Princess Kate Middleton’s nose as an elegant example of what she would like.
Rhinoplasty with narrowing of nasal bones, take down of dorsal hump, and contouring of the nasal tip cartilages. She was delighted with the result and is included in our website video section being interviewed on TV regarding her rhinoplasty.
Patient 43
Patient is a 23-year-old female who desires a straighter and more feminine appearing nose. She has long been bothered by the asymmetry of her nasal bones, and feels that her nose is overly projecting and very unflattering in photographs. She hates to have her picture taken.
Rhinoplasty with septoplasty, refinement of nasal dorsum and straightening of nasal bones, and contouring of nasal tip cartilages with reduction of tip projection. Notice how the new nose beautifully complements and accentuates her facial features. She feels very pretty now.
Patient 44
Patient is a 32 year-old-female who for years has been self-conscious regarding the appearance of her nose. She is an actress who spends much time in front of the camera, and feels that if she could have a more elegant nose that better complements her facial features, her confidence and career could benefit. Specifically she does not like her profile and the rather masculine and bulbous nasal tip. She desires to look more beautiful with out that “nose-job” look.
Rhinoplasty with reduction of the nasal dorsum to improve her profile, contouring and refinement of the nasal tip cartilages, and narrowing of the nasal bones. She was absolutely ecstatic with the results of her rhinoplasty.
Patient 45
Patient is a 23-year-old female who had long desired a less prominent and more feminine appearing nose. She felt that she had very pretty features despite her nose, and simply wanted a nose that better blended with her face and complemented her lips and eyes.
Rhinoplasty with softening of nasal hump, and de-projection of entire nasal structure making her nose shorter to better fit her facial features. Her nasal bones were narrowed with creation of dorsal aesthetic lines, and the nasal tip was contoured and narrowed through suture techniques. She is extremely happy with the result of her surgery with an incredible boost to her self-esteem. She is photographed at 7 months post-op.
Patient 46
Patient is a 24-year-old female who wants a softer, more feminine appearing nose. She feels that she was lucky enough to inherit her mother’s cheekbones and lips, but she also got her father’s family nose which consists of a mild dorsal hump, and a bulbous and over-projecting nasal tip. She desires a more attractive nose that better complements and accentuates her facial features.
Rhinoplasty with nasal hump reduction, narrowing of the nasal bones, and contouring of nasal tip cartilages with lessening of the nasal tip projection.
Patient 47
Patient is a 30 year-old female who underwent a previous rhinoplasty and was unhappy with the appearance of her nose. She felt that her nose did not appear symmetric, and was disappointed with her bulky and down-turned nasal tip. She desired a model’s nose with a more elegant profile and delicate tip that better complemented and accentuated her facial features.
This patient had a classic “polybeak deformity” after her previous rhinoplasty. This is due to formation of excess scar tissue at the nasal tip, and often over reduction of cartilages without adequate support. She underwent Secondary Rhinoplasty with narrowing of nasal bones and contouring of nasal tip with placement of cartilage grafts to the mid-nasal vault, cartilage support of the nasal tip, and cartilage tip graft all from ear donor sites. Note that she now has beautiful dorsal aesthetic lines with narrower nasal bones, and a delicate model-like nasal tip that appears more feminine and refined. She was delighted with her rhinoplasty result.
Patient 48
Patient is a 25-year-old female who suffered a traumatic nasal fracture leaving her nose deviated and appearing different than she remembered. She would like her nose straight along with reduction of the nasal hump that has bothered her throughout her youth. She would like a more defined nasal tip that looks more elegant and makes her look prettier.
Rhinoplasty with correction of septal deviation, contouring of the nasal tip cartilages, and take down of dorsal hump with narrowing of the nasal bones to accentuate her facial features.
Patient 49
Patient is a 44-year-old female with a long-standing dissatisfaction of her nasal appearance, having been very self-conscious about having her photo taken. She realizes that her nose is a “family trait”, present in her father and one of her brothers. She disliked how overly-projecting her nose appears, and hates her bulbous split tip and hanging columella that always show up in photographs. She would like a nose that appears smaller, more feminine, and better complements her facial features without looking obviously altered.
Rhinoplasty with septoplasty, reduction of nasal dorsal profile and nasal tip projection, and alteration of nasal tip cartilages through excisional and suture techniques. She also underwent narrowing of her nasal bones to create appropriate dorsal aesthetic lines. She was absolutely ecstatic with her rhinoplasty result.
Patient 50
Patient is a 22-year-old female who has a long-standing desire to improve the appearance of her nose. Specifically, she does not like her profile as she feels it looks masculine and does not complement her other facial features (which she likes). She thinks that her nose on front view appears off-center and wide, and is very conscious of the asymmetry of her nostrils. Though she has wanted a rhinoplasty for years, she has been hesitant as her mother had her nose done, feels it looks like a “nose-job”. She desires a softer more elegant appearing nose that enhances her facial features, without looking operated on.
Rhinoplasty with septoplasty to straighten the nose, reduction of the nasal hump, and contouring of the nasal tip cartilages. A contemporary rhinoplasty should, in my opinion, be your own secret and serve to enhance your facial features while making you feel more beautiful or handsome. That is the art of plastic surgery.
Patient 51
Patient is a 33-year-old female who forever has desired a softer appearing nose. She does not like her profile, as she hates her nasal dorsal hump; and dislikes how crooked her nose appears from the front. Accordingly, she avoids having her picture taken. She is also bothered by her lack of jawline and neck definition. She desires simply to look and feel more attractive.
Rhinoplasty with removal of dorsal nasal hump, straightening of the nasal septum, narrowing of the nasal bones, and contouring of the nasal tip cartilages. She also underwent liposuction of the neck and chin, with autologous fat transfer to the jawline, chin, upper and lower lips for a total of 10cc. She is ecstatic with the result.
Patient 52
Patient is a 29-year-old female who has long desired a more elegant nose that better complements her facial features and appears more soft and feminine. Specifically she does not like her rather bulbous nasal tip and is very self-conscious regarding her profile and subsequently avoids having her photograph taken. She also dislikes that her nasal tip turns down when she smiles. She wants a more delicate appearing nose that better suits her face and makes her feel more attractive.
Rhinoplasty with septoplasty, contouring of the nasal tip cartilages, reduction of the nasal projection, take-down of dorsal hump and narrowing of the nasal bones. She was ecstatic with the result.
Patient 53
Patient is a 59-year-old female who had always disliked her thick and bulbous nose, and desired a more elegant profile that appeared more feminine.
She underwent a Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty and reduction of the nasal dorsum, reduction and suture contouring of the nasal tip, and fascial graft to the radix to soften the transition of the forehead to nose. She was ecstatic with her surgical result, and feels beautiful.
Patient 54
Patient is a 58-year-old female wanted to appear younger and more attractive. She is very athletic, and likes to keep a trim figure, but as she ages she has found it difficult to keep youthful volume in her face. She enjoyed the results from soft-tissue fillers but was seeking a more precise and global solution, with longer lasting results. She was specifically bothered by her sagging brow, her tired and undefined upper and lower eyes, her jowls and her down-turned mouth. She had broken her nose multiple times, and did not like her profile with its plunging tip and dorsal hump.
High SMAS Facelift, endoscopic browlift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, Rhinoplasty with septoplasty, reduction of dorsal hump, and contouring of nasal tip cartilages, and autogenous fat transfer to the face for a total of 35 cc including lower eyes, midface, cheekbones, jawline, and upper and lower lips.
Patient 55
Patient is a 15-year-old female who since she can remember has been very self-conscious of her nose and felt that it is too large and hooked, and without any specific shape at its tip. She would avoid photographs whenever she could, and lacked the self-confidence of her peers. She desired a more proportionate nose that better complemented her facial features and made her feel pretty.
Rhinoplasty with septoplasty, reduction of dorsal hump and contouring of nasal tip cartilages with increased nasal tip projection. She also underwent a chin augmentation with placement of a medium extended anatomic chin implant to improve facial balance and proportion which greatly enhances the overall aesthetic result.
Patient 56
Patient is a 22-year-old female who underwent a previous septoplasty for deviation and difficulty breathing performed by another surgeon. She still had breathing problems, along with an obviously deviated nose that she wanted to make straighter and more attractive. Specifically, she disliked the overprojection of her nasal tip, the obvious dorsal hump and the fact that she felt that her nose started too low, making her forehead appear too long. She desired a nose that better complemented her facial features with more angularity and feminine appearance.
Rhinoplasty and Septoplasty with placement of cartilage grafts to maintain the integrity of the septal repair, reduction of dorsal hump, layered tip graft to improve tip angularity and projection, and a deep temporal fascial graft to the radix (the junction of the nose and forehead) to raise the starting point of the nose, giving improved balance and proportion to the overall result. She was ecstatic with her result.
Patient 57
Patient is a 20-year-old female with a long-standing desire for a more elegant appearing nose that better matches her facial features. Specifically, she does not like the prominent nasal hump that makes her self conscious regarding her profile, and the how crooked her nose appears when facing someone. She also would like her nose not to droop when she smiles.
Rhinoplasty with straightening of nasal septum, removal of boney dorsal hump and contouring of nasal tip cartilages. She is delighted with her elegant nasal tip, straight nasal lines, and feminine appearing profile.
Patient 58
Patient is a 30-year-old female who relocated from Iraq four months before coming in for a consultation regarding improving the appearance of her nose. She desired a shorter and perkier tip with a more refined profile that better complemented and accentuated her facial features. She was specifically self-conscious about how her nasal tip turned down when she smiled and looked forward to being more self-confident.
Rhinoplasty Septoplasty with straightening of nasal septum, reduction of dorsal hump and radix, and contouring of nasal tip cartilages through suture and excisional techniques. Importantly cartilage grafts were placed internally to provide long term support in light of the patient’s ethnicity and thick skin with the propensity for loss of definition over time. She is very happy with her results and sees improved definition over time. Photos were taken 5 months post surgery.
Patient 59
Patient is a 36-year-old female who traveled from Mexico with a long-standing desire to have a more attractive nose. Since she could remember, she had been bothered by her plunging nasal tip, her wide nasal bones, and the prominent dorsal hump she had on her side profile. Because of the dislike of the way her nose appeared, she did not like having her picture taken, and disliked the way her nasal tip would go down when she smiled, making her feel insecure. She wanted a more feminine appearing nose that looked elegant, and would better enhances her facial features.
Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty and reduction of nasal hump, narrowing of nasal bones, placement of cartilage grafts to support and maintain increased nasal tip projection, and reduction and suture contouring of nasal tip cartilages.
