Forever Young BBL, Shapiro Plastic Surgery & Skin Klinic

What is Forever Young BBL?

Forever Young BBL uses broadband light energy to stop the clock on aging. It visibly improves your skin, while rejuvenating the deep tissues beneath the surface to revitalize your cells at a molecular level. In this way, it is an age-defying procedure that has the power to correct a broad range of conditions.

How Does the Technology Work?

The light energy delivered via BBL heats the upper layers of your skin, stimulating the production of new collagen. This fresh growth restores your skin’s youthful and vibrant complexion. At the same time, the photothermal energy will remove unwanted blood vessels that are causing redness and pigmentation issues.

The Benefits

  • Appropriate for all areas of the body
  • Long-lasting results
  • Quick, 60-minute procedure
  • Minimal Downtime

What Can Forever Young BBL Do for You?

  • Improve the appearance of large pores
  • Rejuvenate sun-damaged skin
  • Correct an uneven skin tone
  • Minimize unwanted facial veins and rosacea
  • Enhance skin elasticity
  • Kill acne-causing bacteria

Are You a Candidate?

We can help you determine if Forever Young BBL is right for you during a private consultation at the Skin Klinic. During this appointment, we will carefully assess your skin and discuss your aesthetic concerns to help create a tailored treatment plan. However, since this technology is customizable for all skin types, most of our Scottsdale patients can be considered candidates.

What to Expect During the Procedure

Your Forever Young BBL procedure will be done in the comfort of one of our Skin Klinic treatment rooms. The day of your appointment, do not wear any makeup, lotions or creams on your face. Avoid unprotected sun exposure 2 weeks prior to treatment.

During the procedure, we will administer a series of pulses to your skin via the Forever Young BBL hand-piece. You may feel a slight warming sensation during this process as your skin absorbs the light.

In general, this is not a painful experience but for optimal comfort, we will apply a topical anesthetic. prior to treatment.

After your appointment, you will leave our office with a flushed appearance, slight swelling and deepening of pigmented areas that can be covered by makeup, allowing you to return to work and your normal daily routine right away. If you had pigmented skin treated, the targeted areas will fade and fall off within two weeks.

The Results

For most of our patients, Forever Young BBL produces age-defying results that can take years off your appearance.

We recommend two maintenance treatments per year to preserve your smooth, soft and clear skin.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Dear Patients:

Your safety is our number one priority. Please know that we join our community in taking advised precautions to limit the spread of the Coronavirus. For the time being we are planning on continuing practice as usual, with some additional precautions.

We have always routinely wiped down our office and patient exam chairs with medical-grade sanitizing wipes. We will expand this to include door knobs, toilet and faucet handles and will have hand-sanitizer available to you at check-in.

No staff will be allowed to come to work with a cough or fever, or if they have had contact with anyone with confirmed Coronavirus. We kindly ask for the same considerations from you. If you have any flu-like symptoms or have recently traveled, please call the office to reschedule your appointment.

We appreciate your flexibility as we will be limiting routine follow-up appointments over the next few weeks and ask patients to not bring friends and family members to their appointments to avoid the amount of patients we have in the office at one time. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please call and let us know.

Sincerely, Daniel Shapiro MD, FACS
