Tone and reshape your upper arms with minimally-invasive BodyTite by InMode.

The Sculpted Upper Arms You Deserve

If you struggle with flabby upper arms, you know it can affect your self-esteem and make you think twice before wearing sleeveless clothes. You also probably know that this particular problem area can be impossible to target with diet and exercise alone.

If you’re ready to do something about your arms, but you’re not quite ready for a surgical brachioplasty, a minimally-invasive arm lift with Dr. Shapiro can help you achieve the smooth and toned arms you deserve.

What is BodyTite by InMode?

BodyTite uses RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) to tighten and contour virtually any area of the body – including the arms. It does so with minimal downtime and many patients are able to achieve their ideal results with just one treatment.

The procedure involves inserting a thin cannula that is about the size of an 18-gauge needle beneath the skin and placing an electrode on the surface of your arms. Both of these devices will deliver radiofrequency energy directly to your deep and superficial tissues – subtly lifting, tightening and contouring the area.

The Benefits of a Minimally-Invasive Approach

  • Surgical results without the scars
  • Dramatically improves the contour of your body
  • Minimal bruising and swelling
  • Quick recovery period

Are You a Candidate?

The best candidates for our minimally-invasive arm lift are men and women who are close to their ideal body weight but struggling with sagging arm skin and localized pockets of fat.

During your initial consultation, Dr. Shapiro will carefully assess your arms and help you determine if BodyTite by InMode is in your best interest – or if a surgical procedure, such as a traditional brachioplasty, is necessary to achieve your aesthetic vision.

What to Expect During Your Procedure

Your BodyTite by InMode procedure may be done under local or general anesthesia. This decision will be made during the initial consultation.

After the anesthesia has been administered, Dr. Shapiro will insert the specialized cannula into the skin on your arms and place an electrode on the surface of your skin. During the procedure, an electrical current will pass through these two devices to create a contained thermal field. The heat that is produced via this process tightens and tones the targeted tissues – revealing contoured arms that look incredible. This entire experience should take about 90 minutes, at which point you will be free to return home immediately.

The Recovery

You will need to rest at home for a few days after your minimally-invasive arm lift. As you heal, you may experience some minor swelling, bruising, tenderness and soreness in the treatment area.

Small sutures that were placed at the incision site will be removed one week after your procedure. It may take up to twelve months for the final results and full contraction of your skin to emerge.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Dear Patients,

It is with great pleasure that I announce the reopening of my practice for both surgical and non-surgical services on May 1, 2020. As per the governor Ducey's executive order on April 22, 2020, elective surgery has been allowed to proceed, with appropriate precautions taken by health care professionals to ensure continued vigilance against the spread of Covid-19.

Our office staff and the staff of Paradise Valley Cosmetic Surgery Center and Surgical Recovery Center have proactively taken necessary precautions to meet strict criterion for health providers according to the state of Arizona. These include necessary patient screening for Covid-19, strict protocols for cleaning offices and treatment rooms, adequate PPE, and continued social distancing. As before, waiting areas will have minimal capacity, and friends and family members should not accompany one into offices or treatment areas.

With great anticipation we welcome you back to the practice, and wish you all continued health and safety.

Sincerely, Daniel Shapiro MD, FACS
