Fractora by InMode is a treatment that uses radiofrequency (RF) combined with microneedling. Fractora uses small needles to create tiny punctures in the skin, sending heat below the surface to promote collagen production. Fractora can be used on the face and body for multiple skin concerns including improvement in overall tone and texture, acne scarring, pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles and more. This skin resurfacing treatment can be customized to fit your specific needs and desires.

The radiofrequency energy used in Fractora heats the deep layers of the skin and stimulates collagen production for an overall improvement in your skin.0

Results from Fractora are comparable to ablative laser treatments with less downtime and reduced risk of adverse reactions.

  • Microneedling combined with radiofrequency (RFAL)

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments needed to achieve your best results varies from patient to patient depending on the patient’s goals for treatment

Most patients are able to achieve optimal results with a series of one to three treatment sessions scheduled approximately four to six weeks apart. Some patients may require additional treatment sessions depending on desired results.

What can I expect after a treatment session?

You may experience some redness or tenderness, much like a mild sunburn, in the treated area following your appointment. This is temporary and will subside in a few days. We recommend patients avoid direct sun exposure and use additional sun protection for the first few days after their treatment session, as the skin will have increased sensitivity to the sun.

If you are considering undergoing Fractora for skin rejuvenation, it is important that you do so under the supervision of a plastic surgeon who has a long record of excellent results. Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Dear Patients:

Your safety is our number one priority. Please know that we join our community in taking advised precautions to limit the spread of the Coronavirus. For the time being we are planning on continuing practice as usual, with some additional precautions.

We have always routinely wiped down our office and patient exam chairs with medical-grade sanitizing wipes. We will expand this to include door knobs, toilet and faucet handles and will have hand-sanitizer available to you at check-in.

No staff will be allowed to come to work with a cough or fever, or if they have had contact with anyone with confirmed Coronavirus. We kindly ask for the same considerations from you. If you have any flu-like symptoms or have recently traveled, please call the office to reschedule your appointment.

We appreciate your flexibility as we will be limiting routine follow-up appointments over the next few weeks and ask patients to not bring friends and family members to their appointments to avoid the amount of patients we have in the office at one time. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please call and let us know.

Sincerely, Daniel Shapiro MD, FACS
