Endoscopic Brow Lift

Men and women both tend to lose skin elasticity first in the upper facial structure, consisting of the forehead and eyebrows. With age, the upper facial skin becomes prone to permanent lines that leave the face looking tired, worn, and asymmetric.

One way to reverse the loss of skin elasticity is through an endoscopic brow lift. This type of brow lift is the most common of Dr. Shapiro’s brow lifts. It is ideal for patients who have minimal to medium depths and quantities of wrinkles that they wish to tighten.

The procedure involves hidden incisions made throughout the scalp, tucked away in the hair. This means that the thin, few scars left behind are hardly noticeable even by the patient themselves. Because the endoscopic brow lift is minimally invasive, there is very little bruising or swelling from the procedure. The recovery time is very quick with surgical sutures being removed within ten days.
