Buttocks Augmentation: Implants or Fat Transfer
The buttocks augmentation procedure is designed to enhance volume, shape, and firmness of the buttocks. Buttocks augmentation can be tailored to fit your needs from more feminine, full and tight buttocks or masculine, athletic and muscular-looking buttocks. These qualities can be achieved through silicone implants or through fat transfer.
Silicone buttocks implants are not silicone shells like those used in breast implants. Rather, they are solid silicone and do not have a separate filler and shell. In order to place the implants, incisions can be made between the buttocks or where the buttocks meet the back of the thigh.
A fat transfer procedure to the buttocks, also referred to as a Brazilian butt lift, is achieved by taking fat from other areas of the body and injecting it into the buttocks. The fat is typically taken from the abdomen, flanks, thighs, or knees and it is minimally invasive.
