Female Rhinoplasty Gallery

Patient is a 27 year-old patient who is from out of town and initially had a Zoom consultation regarding her desire for a smaller and more elegant nose.  She wanted to soften her nasal tip, reduce her profile, and make her nose appear more feminine and proportioned.  She ultimately had a formal consultation in the office at which time her photos were imaged, and a discussion proceeded that solidified a common aesthetic goal for her new nose.

Procedure:

Septorhinoplasty with straightening of the nasal septum,  reduction of nasal dorsum and radix, creation of dorsal aesthetic lines, and contouring of the nasal tip cartilages through suture and excisional techniques.  The left nostril was reduced and supported with the placement of an alar rim graft.  Photos are 10 months post-surgery, and she is ecstatic with her results.

Patient is a 32-year-old woman middle-eastern woman who desires a softer and more feminine appearing nose.  She dislikes her profile with the prominent hump, and hates smiling in photos as her nasal tip droops, making her upper lip disappear.  She would like a more delicate and sculpted nasal tip that better matches her other facial features.  She and her family wanted to maintain her “ethnicity” as they are proud of their heritage.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with reduction of dorsum and narrowing of the nasal bones to produce appealing dorsal aesthetic lines.  Her nose was shortened and the tip rotated while simultaneously the nasal tip cartilages were contoured through suture and cartilage reduction techniques.  Internal cartilage grafts were placed to provide structural support and increase tip projection.  Both she and her family were delighted with the results.  Photos are approximately 3 months after surgery, and progressive loss of swelling can be anticipated up to 1 year with further tip definition and reduction of overall nasal size.

Patient is a 22 year-old female who desires a more feminine and elegant appearing nose.  She does not like the masculine appearing nasal dorsum with an obvious bump that makes her quite self-conscious.  She feels that her nose is a bit crooked and lacks elegant transition to a bulbous nasal tip that she dislikes.  She would like a “perky” nose that better accentuates her cheekbones and lips that she is often complemented on.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with narrowing and straightening of nasal bones and reduction of nasal hump.  Internal cartilage grafts were placed to support and accentuate her new dorsal aesthetic lines, and her nasal tip cartilages were contoured through suture and reduction techniques.  Photographs are 5 months post-surgery, and she is extremely delighted with her new nose revealing that “this is the nose I wish I were born with”.

Patient is a 24 year-old social media influencer who desires a straighter and more proportioned nose that better complements her facial features.  She basically got her father’s crooked nose and feels that is masculine and big with a prominent dorsal hump and lack of elegant definition.  She is front of the camera all day and is quite self-conscious about profile photos.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with straightening of cartilage septum and nasal bones with reinforcement of internal cartilage grafts.  The dorsal hump was reduced and nasal tip cartilages were rotated and reduced utilizing suture techniques.  Internal cartilage grafts were used to accentuate her dorsal aesthetic lines and maintain shape.  Photos are 6 months post-surgery, and she is now extremely confident regarding her nose, her overall appearance, and feels truly beautiful for the first time.

Patient is a 41 year-old female who has forever been extremely self-conscious about her large nose.  She avoids having her photo taken, and does not like people to dwell on either side of her as she dislikes her large dorsal hump and over-projecting nasal tip.  She feels that her nose looks masculine and unrefined, and desires a softer and more feminine nose that better complements her facial features.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with reduction of dorsal hump, narrowing of nasal bones and nasal cartilages to create pleasant dorsal aesthetic lnes, and contouring of nasal tip through cartilage reduction and suture techniques.  The over-projecting nasal tip was shortened and long-term stability was ensured with the placement of internal cartilage grafts.  Photos are 3 months post-surgery, and the patient is delighted as this was a life-altering event.

 Patient is a 26 year-old female with a long standing desire to improve the cosmetic appearance of her nose.  She does not like her nasal profile with an obvious bump that she feels makes her look quite masculine, along with an over-projecting nasal tip that makes her nose dominate her facial features.  She is very self-conscious of her rather amorphous tip, and yearns for a nose that appears feminine and better complements her facial features.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with softening of nasal dorsal hump and de-projection of nasal tip bringing entire nasal complex closer to her face.  The nasal bones were narrowed to impart beautiful dorsal aesthetic lines, and nasal tip cartilages were contoured through suture techniques.  Internal cartilage grafts were placed to provide long-term support to ensure stability of the rhinoplasty.  Photos are 6 weeks post-surgery and there still exists significant swelling, hence further definition can be expected.  She is very excited and loves her result, revealing that finally she feels beautiful.

Patient is a 36 year-old Hispanic female who had a previous rhinoplasty approximately 13 years ago for which she was never happy with her result.  She has seen widening of her nasal bones and a deviation of her nasal tip, and has trouble breathing.  Initially she desired a smaller, straighter, and “perkier” nasal tip. She has always dreamed of having a “model’s” nose.

Procedure:  Revision Septorhinoplasty with reduction of dorsal hump and straightening of both nasal bones and nasal septum.  The nasal tip was contoured using cartilage suture techniques, and shortened and rotated to give the desired effect.  Internal cartilage grafts were used to increase nasal tip projection and maintain functional and aesthetic integrity.  Photos are 1.5 years after surgery.  She is thrilled with her result with a significant boost to her self-confidence.

Patient is a 34-year-old female who has long yearned for a more sculpted and feminine appearing nose that better complements her bone structure.  She does not like the bump on her profile, or the lack of definition of the tip that she attributes to her German and Irish heritage.  She really dislikes having her photo taken and always uses filters to simulate her desired nose.  She would love to cut her hair short, but is afraid to as she feels it will make her nose all the more obvious.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with reduction of nasal dorsal hump, straightening of the nasal septum with placement of internal cartilage grafts to stabilize the septum in its new position.  The nasal tip was contoured through cartilage reduction and suture techniques and the nostrils were mildly modified for symmetry.  Photos are 2 months post-surgery.  She wears her hair short now as she loves her nose and overall appearance, and her shyness is slowly improving with her new found confidence in her appearance.

Patient is a 39 year-old female who has forever desired a more elegant and feminine appearing nose that better complements her facial features.  Specifically she does not like her broad nose with significant crookedness, dorsal hump, and downturned nasal tip that is more pronounced when she smiles.  She would like a natural appearing nose that makes her look more attractive.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with straightening of nasal bones and cartilages and reduction of dorsal hump.  The nasal tip was shortened and rotated, and the nasal tip cartilages were contoured utilizing cartilage reduction and suture techniques.  Internal cartilage grafts were placed to maintain shape and breathing.  Autogenous fat was injected to the face for a total of 16cc including the lower eyes, cheekbones, midface, and nasolabial folds to improve facial contours and provide aesthetic proportions.  Photos are 4 months post-surgery and she is extremely happy with her results.  She has shared that she truly feels beautiful now, has increased self-confidence and no longer dislikes having her photo taken, in fact, looks forward to it now!

Patient is a 17 year-old female who underwent a previous septorhinoplasty and was dissatisfied with both her functional and cosmetic result.  Despite her previous procedure she could not breathe well through the left nostril, and was unhappy with her dorsal bump, and her elongated and drooping nasal tip that lacked adequate projection.  She wanted more of a “model’s” nose and to have more effortless breathing.

Procedure:  Revision septothinoplasty with placement of bilateral spreader grafts and septocolumellar strut from ear donor site.  Her nasal dorsum was reduced and made more elegant, and the spreader grafts were placed to improve breathing and establish dorsal aesthetic lines.  The septocolumellar strut was placed to increase tip definition and projection giving a much more elegant appearing nose.  Photographs are 4 months post-surgery, and she id delighted with result and breathes without problems.

Patient is a 23-year-old female who has forever wanted to cosmetically improve her nose.  She avoids having photos taken, especially from the side, and constantly filters photos to make them acceptable to her.  She would like to have a more feminine appearing nose, with a softer profile and a more delicate nasal tip that does not droop when she smiles.  She had a specific idea of what she was looking for, and these “ideals” were shared during the consultation.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with reduction of radix and bony nasal  dorsum, and narrowing of the nasal bones to create more of a “model’s” nose.  The nasal tip was contoured through  cartilage reduction and suture techniques, and rotated to make the nose appear shorter and more feminine.  Photos are approximately 6 weeks post-surgery, and considerable reduction in the overall size of the nose can be expected up to 1 year, with further definition of the nasal tip.  She stated that her new nose has “changed her life” with new found positivity and self-esteem.

Patient is a 31-year-old fitness model and lifestyle social influencer who has long desired a more proportioned nose that better complements her facial features.  She would like to address the dorsal hump that makes her profile seem masculine, along with her bulbous tip and elongated nostrils that do not match the otherwise feminine and elegant features of her face.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with reduction of nasal hump, narrowing of nasal bones to create dorsal aesthetic lines, and contouring of the nasal tip through cartilage reduction and suture techniques.  Nostrils were contoured to decrease flare and excess nostril width.  Photos are approximately 1 year post surgery and the patient is extremely happy with her results.  A combined aesthetic vision is the achieved through detailed communication and an extremely precise surgical plan.  She stated that this is the nose she wished she had been born with, as it appears both natural and beautiful, greatly enhancing her facial features.

Patient is a 28 year-old-hispanic female who had a long-standing desire to have a perkier and more feminine appearing nose.  Spicifically, she did not like the bump on her nose or her wide asymmetric nasal tip and nostrils that droop when she smiled.  

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with reduction of nasal hump, narrowing of nasal bones and reorientation of nasal tip cartilages through both excisional and suture contouring techniques.  A supporting cartilaginous strut was placed to maintain long-term tip elevation to achieve the “perky tip” she desired, along with nostril narrowing to complete her rhinoplasty.  Cartilage structural support and tissue undermining were keys to predictably and successfully reducing her overall nasal size.  Photos are approximately 5 months post-surgery and she is extremely delighted with her surgical result.

Patient is a 23-year-old female with a very astute aesthetic eye.  She has studied many noses and would like a more angular and defined nasal tip with slight decrease of her nasal projection.  Should desires slight rotation of her nasal tip to appear a bit more feminine, with reduction of some of the tip wideness, and proportional adjustment of her nasal bones and dorsal aesthetic lines.  She also requested more definition and angularity of her cheekbones, as she has always had a bit of a full face, especially as a young child.  Lastly, she would like to have a more angular and defined jawline and chin that would complement her other proposed angular facial features.

Procedure:  Septorhinoplasty with small reduction of nasal dorsum, narrowing of nasal bones and refinement of the nasal tip through suture and cartilaginous reduction techniques.  The projection of her nose was increased with internal cartilage grafts, imparting the appearance of more angularity that she desired.  Bilateral buccal fat pads were removed to increase the definition of her cheekbones, and a chin augmentation was performed with placement of a medium extended anatomic chin implant with 100cc of liposuction of the neck and jawline.  Fat harvested was utilized for lip augmentation as a total of 4cc of fat transfer to the upper and lower lips to complete her result.  Photos are approximately 6 months post surgery and she is extremely happy with her results.
