The Sculpted Upper Arms You Deserve

If you struggle with flabby upper arms, you know it can affect your self-esteem and make you think twice before wearing sleeveless clothes. You also probably know that this particular problem area can be impossible to target with diet and exercise alone.

If you’re ready to do something about your arms, but you’re not quite ready for a surgical brachioplasty, a minimally-invasive arm lift with Dr. Shapiro can help you achieve the smooth and toned arms you deserve.

What is BodyTite by InMode?

BodyTite uses RFAL (Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis) to tighten and contour virtually any area of the body – including the arms. It does so with minimal downtime and many patients are able to achieve their ideal results with just one treatment. The procedure involves inserting a thin cannula that is about the size of an 18-gauge needle beneath the skin and placing an electrode on the surface of your arms. Both of these devices will deliver radiofrequency energy directly to your deep and superficial tissues – subtly lifting, tightening and contouring the area.

Minimally Invasive Arm Lift Before & After

Patient is a 66 year-old-female who desired to have more youthful appearing arms. Over the last 10 years her arms had become progressively heavier with sagging skin that did not improve despite exercising to improve her arm musculature. She wanted to wear short sleeves but didn’t dare as she thought her arms made her look quite old. She felt that she could accept a scar across the inside of her arms if the overall contour of her arms was improved. Bilateral brachioplasty with SAFE liposuction of the arms for a total of 1100cc. Patient was delighted with her result!

What to Expect During Your Procedure

Your BodyTite by InMode procedure may be done under local or general anesthesia. This decision will be made during the initial consultation.

After the anesthesia has been administered, Dr. Shapiro will insert the specialized cannula into the skin on your arms and place an electrode on the surface of your skin. During the procedure, an electrical current will pass through these two devices to create a contained thermal field. The heat that is produced via this process tightens and tones the targeted tissues – revealing contoured arms that look incredible. This entire experience should take about 90 minutes, at which point you will be free to return home immediately.

The Recovery

You will need to rest at home for a few days after your minimally-invasive arm lift. As you heal, you may experience some minor swelling, bruising, tenderness and soreness in the treatment area. Small sutures that were placed at the incision site will be removed one week after your procedure. It may take up to twelve months for
