Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

One of the most common cosmetic procedures performed is the rhinoplasty, or nose job. The nose is the central feature of the face and sets the overall tone for the face. Because of this, even minor alterations of the nose can create a more attractive look. Traditionally, these changes have only been achievable through surgery, but with the rise of cosmeceuticals, non-surgical solutions have become increasingly popular.

A non-surgical rhinoplasty is achieved with injectable fillers on an outpatient basis. Before the procedure the nose is topically numbed without the use of anesthesia and injections are strategically administered. The injections can be utilized to correct a number of issues including a droopy tip, nasal bump, irregularities due to a previous rhinoplasty surgery, and asymmetry. While these irregularities are not removed with a non-surgical rhinoplasty, the subtle changes will enhance the look of the entire face.

Dr. Shapiro regularly uses four soft tissue fillers to correct nasal irregularities. They include Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, and Sculptra. Each of the fillers provides slightly different benefits while substituting for natural collagen as the skin grows back faster. Depending on your personal needs, Dr. Shapiro will use the filler that is most appropriate for you. The benefits of a non-surgical rhinoplasty are numerous but the three most favored aspects of the procedure include no downtime, very low costs, and immediate visible results
