What are they doing to look their best on and off the runway? With access to the best beauty experts in the world there has to be some amazing beauty trick that mere mortals like ourselves haven’t found out about yet. So we scoured the internet just for you to put together a giant list of beauty tips from all the leggy beauties of Victoria’s Secret. From legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath’s wisdom, to unconventional eyelash curlers and contouring we’ll totally be trying,  read on to see what advice Candice Swanpoel, Jourdan Dunn and Iza Goulart have shared over the years.

JOURDAN DUNN

“To make the illusion that you have fake lashes, someone taught me that you get a card — like cardboard or a credit card — place it behind your eyelashes, and then you use your mascara and push it against it, and then it makes it look like you’ve got a false lash. It’s really good. It was one of my first seasons, I think at Anna Sui… one of Pat McGrath’s girls taught me.”

HILARY RHODA

“I always like to watch what makeup artists do so I can try to learn new things. I always do the contouring and I highlight the cheekbones, the eye sockets with a little bronzer… just that, even, kind of makes you look more awake and refined, and you can do in two seconds. That’s something that I do every day.”

TONI GARRN

“I always put highlighter under my eyebrow and on my nose — that’s what I picked up from Pat McGrath when I was 14. I was always like, ‘What’s the shiny stick?!’ And I always curl my lashes.”

JESSICA HART

“I love an eyelash curler — when I discovered that, I was like wow! It’s just a little thing that really opens up your eye, even if you’re not wearing makeup or mascara, sometimes it even looks better without mascara. Also, I love a tinted moisturizer, just something light when you’re on the go. And I like highlighter, high up on your cheeks… that’s my secret.”

MARTHA HUNT

“Definitely staying hydrated. I’m trying to drink a lot more water and even just fresh juices, I think it makes a big difference. But I think that extra vitamin kick, it really makes you feel good.”

LILY ALDRIDGE

“I’ve learned how important it is to curl your lashes before putting mascara on — it really helps to open up your eyes. Shu Uemera makes a great eyelash curler.” “I remember when I first came into Victoria’s Secret and watching Adriana [Lima] work the runway, the way she really knew where the cameras were. So it’s really important for me to figure out where cameras are and use them… when you walk down the runway, there are cameras everywhere — so a good tip is to know where the cameras are!”

ERIN HEATHERTON

“Everything. I think less is more, just doing simple things with like concealer, and a blow out, and putting oil in your hair… and just like, hand movements: turn over your dry shampoo, and shake!! You kinda learn those little tricks.”

JACQUELYN JABLONSKI

“Not to be so heavy handed when it comes to doing your eyes. I used to line all around and go really dark… but someone taught me to put liner in just the corners sort of, it looks a lot fresher.”

IZA GOULART

“I am one of those people who has to constantly switch up their workout to keep myself motivated. If it’s not fun I won’t do it, so I am always on the lookout for the newest and latest thing. And I don’t beat up on myself if I skip a day here or there. You won’t die if you don’t get a workout in and have a drink instead once in awhile!”
