During my annual mammogram in April of 2017, the results had shown my breast implants of 30+years had ruptured. My physician referred me to Dr. Shapiro, whom he felt is the best Plastic Surgeon in Arizona. My husband voiced his concerns about my decision to replace my implants but understood that something had to be done. I made an appointment for a consultation to find out my options. Dr. Shapiro’s staff immediately made me feel very comfortable and at ease. After completing the initial paperwork, I was taken to his office for the consultation. When Dr. Shapiro entered the room and sat down next to me, I was impressed at how down to earth and easy to talk to he is. We first discussed my lifestyle, what I liked and disliked about my body and what kind of expectations I had regarding the surgery. He thoroughly explained how he would approach my particular procedure and suggested a breast lift for a more youthful look. After our discussion, I decided to move forward with the surgery. The surgery went well and my recovery took about 8 weeks. After the recovery period, I was back to my everyday routine and was even able to play golf. I couldn’t be happier with my results. And my husband loves my new perky breasts. I was so thrilled with my breast augmentation; I scheduled another consultation to discuss the possibility of a face-lift. For the last couple of years, I have felt my face had become tired looking and stressed. Over the years, my friends have all stated how young I look. They have trouble believing I am 68 years old, so I didn’t want to do anything that would dramatically change my appearance. My husband once again voiced his concerns. He tells me all the time how beautiful I am and that I didn’t need to change a thing. However, he supported my decision because it was important to me and he knows Dr. Shapiro does great work. For this consultation, the doctor asked me to bring in a photo of myself that I particularly liked showing me 15-20 years younger. The photo I chose was taken when I was 40 years old. As Dr. Shapiro looked at the photo, he immediately knew how he was going to re-contour my face by adding fat under my hollow eyes and adding additional fat to my lower cheek areas where I had lost fullness. He suggested tightening my neck, raising my brow slightly and removing the heavy lids over my eyes. My surgery was performed in October 2017, followed by an overnight stay at the surgical clinic. The surgical staff was highly professional and provided exceptional care. Dr. Shapiro visited the following day to remove my facial bandages and reassured me that I was going to love my end results. At first, it was hard to see past the swelling and bruising. One big concern I had, was the tickets we had purchased to see Cher in Las Vegas only 5 weeks post-op. I started questioning myself with “Did I do the right thing?” “Was I going to look O.K.”, “Maybe I should have planned better.” However, with each passing day, I could see the real me starting to emerge. I did attend the Cher concert and was told how beautiful I was by two young 20 something’s that sat behind me at the show! I am now a full 4 months post-op and once again I couldn’t be happier. Looking at my before and after photos, it’s an amazing transformation. The results are very natural looking and I feel I still look like me, just much more refreshed and youthful. My facelift has been undetectable by friends and family, as they ask me how I stay so young looking and “Did you do something different with your hair?” My husband also loves the new younger looking me and says he is very happy with my results. After both of my surgeries, I had several weekly and monthly follow up exams. The staff at Dr. Shapiro’s office; Leslie, Megan, Anne, Carol, and Sage, are outstanding. They were very understanding and caring when I needed someone to talk to and answer my questions or address my concerns. When I experienced two anxiety attacks, Anne was there to calm and reassure me. She was sincere with her advice that everything was fine and that my recovery was progressing nicely. She had no doubt that I would love my results. All of the staff and especially Dr. Shapiro were correct with their predictions … that I would love my results. And I DO! Dr. Shapiro is a brilliant artist, truly the Michelangelo of Plastic Surgeons. His vision and expertise bring​ the best to one's face or body with a natural look & without a single noticeable scar. For anyone thinking about cosmetic surgery of any kind, there is no one else I would recommend. Dr. Shapiro and his amazing staff are simply the best. I love the Shapiro Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Skin Klinic. I can’t thank them enough.

Dr. Shapiro was great throughout all the process. He listened to my concerns, my goals and gave his expert opinion so I could get real expectations and results. I got botox for the first time in my eyebrows to prevent those pesky 11's. Sage was super helpful, knowledgable, and made me feel so comfortable throughout the process! She took before and after videos (spaced 2 weeks apart so the botox had time to kick in) so I could really see the results. Unfortunately, it wore off in ~2 months, but I knew that for some people, it doesn't last as long. Nothing but positive things to say!

I love this place! I've been going here for years, with nonsurgical nose jobs and other fillers. Pat does an amazing job! Today I tried the prf (under eye), I did feel a bit woozy because I do have a fear of blood, but Pat was just amazing and helped me though it to make sure I was okay- giving me peanut butter crackers, water, ice, lollipop, and great support. Pat has always done an amazing job with everything she does- I'll always get my nonsurgical nose job, eyebrow lifted, and now prf at this place :)

I have battled my weight since I was a kid. For the last fifteen years, I have worked hard to take care of myself by eating well and working out regularly. However, it was never enough to overcome years of excess weight and the strain of having two children put on my abdomen. I wanted a tummy tuck so I could experience what it is like to have a flat stomach and a genuine waistline for the first time in my life.

I had a botched surgery when I was younger so picking the right doctor the first time was my highest priority. Dr. Shapiro is a beyond skillful, he is a true perfectionist and takes extreme pride in his work. My scar is very low and my belly button looks adorable! I can now wear clothes without a muffin top and I even bought my first bikini! I could NOT be happier with the results of my surgery and I would do it all over again without hesitation!

Anne Kincaid, Nurse Injector, gave me my pre-spider bite nose back!!! The patience and genuineness she exudes immediately put me at ease from the first time I visited Dr. Shapiro's beautiful office. I went in on two occasions to get Juvederm lip fillers. Dr. Anne is absolutely INCREDIBLE, you need to ask for her! I will always recommend anyone to come here. I came to the Shapiro Skin klinic for Undereye PRF injections. Pat, my nurse injector, was extremely knowledgeable and explained to me the procedure and analyzed my unique face contours. She has a great eye for facial aesthetics and was a wonderful first time experience to the clinic!

I had multiple procedures preformed; Facelift, Rhinoplasty, Breast Augmentation, Upper Blepharoplasty (upper eyelids). To say that I am happy with my experience with Dr. Shapiro and staff, does not do them justice. I should mention that I knew I wanted multiple procedures when I went in for my consultation. My concern was if he would be able to preform what I wanted in one surgery, they can only keep you under for a limited amount of time.
I live in the Scottsdale area that Dr. Shapiro has his office. Ask any hairdresser in Scottsdale / Paradise Valley (which I did), it's always the same answer: hands down Dr. Shapiro is the best. They know, they see the before and after close up of every surgeon in the tri-state. And if
you' re thinking of a Rhinoplasty; don't even think of going anywhere else. He is simply the best. When I called for my initial consultation they were booking about 4 weeks out. I asked how far out they were scheduling surgeries, that was about 6 weeks. Knowing that Dr. Shapiro was the only Dr. I trusted to perform so many procedures and do them well, I put a deposit down to hold my surgery date before our initial consultation. I was concerned about the deposit thinking the price just went up. But to my surprise his prices came in mid range, even the Rhinoplasty. He is the king of Rhinoplasty, I fully expected that to be maybe even beyond the common price range.
The day of my surgery, and my 2 nights at their recovery center were first class as expected. My nurses and caretakers were wonderful.
I am now 6 months post surgery. My results are exceptional. Every procedure is perfection, and the nose continues to get better and more defined everyday. I should explain that mine was not a simple hump removal or tip refinement. Mine was a large nose. Everything had to be sized down and the tip projection had to be brought down. While making it the right dimensions for my face. the results are not only beautiful but very natural looking. I should also point out the neck and eyelids. Initially I was not going to have them done, I was thinking of a brow lift. Now I am so happy that I listened to his advice and went with his recommendation. My results are a balanced overall effect. Now I see women who did what I was thinking, I can tell immediately. The areas that were improved look out of place and obvious. Bottom line, don't just do lower face and mid face without the neck and eyelids. I did not do the brow lift, I do not regret it. A touch of Botox gives me the lift I need, only surgery can correct the neck and eyelids.

I have had the pleasure of being treated at the Shapiro Skin Klinic since I moved to AZ 3 years ago. I have been having "work" done for decades. My experience at this "klinic" has been fabulous. Now, I can't imagine going to anyone else. If I move, I will have to visit to get my treatments. Really.

Pat is an expert injection trainer and her engagement is generous; her injections are flawless and the results are a natural look. I am now over 60, I don't have a noticeable wrinkle and no-one, not even my niece notices I have work done. Hee hee. Pat looks fabulous too. A good sign of her standards.

I absolutely love my rhinoplasty results! I feel my nose looks natural and matches my facial features which was important to me because I usually had an eye for nose jobs that did not look natural. I would recommend Dr. Shapiro to family and friends because he truly is a talented surgeon! Dr. Shapiro took the time to actually look inside my nose and was the first physician to ask if I had difficulty breathing which I did because of my deviated septum. Besides the deviated septum, I had a bump on my nose and a bulbus nasal tip. I expressed how I wanted my nose to look like and Dr. S immediately started looking through magazines of noses he thought would look nice on me and he was spot on. He also noticed when I smiled my upper lip would disappear and show my entire gum line. This was also something I disliked but did not know there was a solution! Dr. Shapiro told me that my upper lip was tight because of the frenulum inside my upper lip and a simple frenulotomy would relax my lip so it would not go up so high when I smiled. I love my smile now and I can smile as big as I want or laugh without worrying about my entire gum line showing. This was my first surgery and I was super nervous, but Dr. Shapiro reassured me and made me feel very comfortable along with his friendly office staff. If anyone has been looking for a plastic surgeon, I truly recommend Dr.Shapiro. I'm usually not the type to write reviews, but I am so pleased with my results, I decided it was worth it for someone else to know that may be searching for a surgeon.

Dr. Shapiro did my face and neck, after another scottsdale physician jacked my face up. Being afro american I had gone to other surgeons in the valley who refused to touch me Dr. Shapiro took me on. I cannot say enough good things about this amazing surgeon! He and his staff are professional, compassionate people. I had breast augmentation when I was in my 20's and because they were not done correctly, I had to have them redone several times over a period of 5 years. I tried a total of 3 plastic surgeons across the country. None of their work satisfied me! I gave up when my husband and I decided to have a baby and just dealt with the implants I had. They were saline implants set under the muscle but due to the placement of them, they were always low and I had to wear a bra for support. After I had my 2nd child, my stomach and my breasts were not pretty! I was able to nurse even though I had the implants but they were more stretched out and lower than ever before! No matter how hard I worked out and dieted, I could never get my body back in shape, so I went in for a consult with Dr Shapiro to figure out what my options would be. He told me that I was a perfect candidate for a tummy tuck and he also recommended a breast lift. I decided to switch my implants out as well and chose the silicone model! I was very nervous but his staff made the whole process simple and eased my mind. After surgery, I stayed in their post op center for 2 evenings. It is located on the property which allowed me to begin my recovery in an environment where I didn't have to worry about my kids seeing me or jumping on me and allowed my husband to be able to leave and take care of our kids without having to worry about me. I can say now that I have a better body than I had before I had children! I have had so many compliments from people about how great I look and the best part is...they do not even realize I had work done! I believe the best plastic surgery should result in a non "plastic" look! That is what I have and even in the skimpiest of swimsuits, my scars do not show! (That was another worry of mine!) I am so pleased with Dr Shapiro's work and his entire staff! I would highly recommend him to others!

After birthing two children and undergoing laparoscopic surgery years ago, no amount of exercising and diet was working to fix scars, sagging skin, and fat deposits. I am so grateful to have found Anne, a nurse at Dr. Shapiros office. She did a non surgical nose job on a slight deviation that I had from a previous rhinoplasty I had in California. She did an amazing job and my nose is straight. I was so happy with that result and went back to her to do my Voluma and again she did a BEAUTIFUL job on my cheeks. I had a facelift with Dr. Shapiro 16 years ago and was very pleased with it. Because of my excellent experience with the surgery, I really felt comfortable with him and didn’t even consider having somebody else this time. Looking for a plastic surgeon is a big decision. I chose Dr. Shapiro initially because of his incredible reviews and the before/after images listed on his practice's website. I cannot say enough great things about this office. I am someone is is VERY conservative and really takes my time and does research on who is going to touch my face and for others like me out there, look no more!! Seriously. Sage is who I have been going to for over a year now and I can say I have found my injector for life! She is so incredibly patient with me and goes there extra mile to understand how I like my Botox and filler (fairly minimal amount). I am always happy with my results because she give me the natural look I am going for. She listens to her patients and is skilled enough to adjust to different patient goals, too. Hi! I just recently had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Shapiro as my surgeon and I am so so happy with the results. It turned out better than I ever imagined and I genuinely don't think any other surgeon could have given me these results or have made me as content with the entire process as I am right now. I originally had a large bump on my nose, a downward slope, a deviated septum, and large nostrils. Now, I'm in love with my nose. It used to be my biggest insecurity but now it's one of the parts of my face that I love the most. Dr. Shapiro was very kind and upfront with me throughout the full process and gave me his honest opinion on everything to make my results best fit my face instead of just going with the exact look I was asking for. I am very grateful for this and because he genuinely looks out for the best interest of the patient. Aside from the cosmetic procedure, he also corrects any deviation. I didn't even know I had a deviated septum and now that it's corrected, I can also feel a difference in my ability to breathe through my left nostril. Originally, the whole process of getting a consultation and undergoing surgery was supposed to take much longer than just two or three months however I was hoping to get the surgery done over the summer. I CANNOT recommend Shapiro Aesthetic Plastic Surgery enough! As a former collegiate athlete, I used to be so self-conscious about my flat chest. After years of debate, I finally took the plunge to get a breast augmentation when I came across Dr. Shapiro. He has been so fantastic, and continues to be a great resource, throughout this entire process. Dr. Shapiro is extremely knowledgeable about the procedure, and tailored my cup size to my specific body-type. I’m now roughly a 32D/34C cup size and I couldn’t be happier. I’m currently 5 months post-op and my chest is perfectly symmetrical (which was an initial concern of mine). The incisions are barely noticeable thanks to a specific scar gel offered by the practice. The preparation leading up to the surgery was also hassle-free. Dr. Shapiro and his staff went above and beyond, prescribing a shopping list of vitamins and supplements (which is not required or common among other practices) to ensure my recovery was as painless and smooth as possible. His office is also such a stunning location, it feels clean, sterile, serene and calming. The staff treats you like family and is very encouraging. It’s safe to say I'm now a lifelong patient!

Dr. Shapiro performed an upper and lower blepharoplasty fat transfer. As an organ transplant patient who is on antirejection medication’s. I was very concerned about healing time and complications and age early 70s. We discussed lower immune challenges I might have and went over typical healing times and post op Expectations. Surgery went well, received the exact desired results that I had spoken to the doctor about. I continue to heal and be very pleased with this work and much more confident the drug interactions did not delay healing. Dr. Shapiro is a very approachable, personable physician And I can see what he’s highly recommended.

After wanting a Rhinoplasty for many years, I regret not doing it sooner. Recovery was so easy and I had no pain whatsoever. His precise and detailed approach gave me the perfect result, I couldn’t be happier with my new refreshed look. I wanted to get a nose job for such a long time, I researched several plastic surgeons in the area, looked at before and after photos, and made a few consultation appointments. I really really liked Dr Shapiro’s before and after pictures, and everyone who wrote reviews seemed very pleased with their results. I called the office, and got an appt two weeks later. His staff is very friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. As soon as I met Dr Shapiro face to face, I knew right away I wanted him to do my surgery. He took the time and listened to exactly what I wanted, he asked what I didn’t like, and what I wanted changed. He gave me his professional opinion on what would look best with my features, and I love that his staff never rushed me, they had patience and I always knew what to expect at every appt. I had minimal pain and just a little swelling/bruising. Dr Shapiros enthusiasm and professional manner shows just how much he loves his job, and the results speak for themselves. I have lived in Scottsdale for over16 years and this is the best medspa I have been to. Nurse Jamie does my Botox and filler - she is truly AMAZING! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she nailed it! My friends and family even noticed! I also have very specific things that I am looking for when getting injectables, Nurse Jamie could relate and execute her talents to perfection!

I also see their Laser Tech/Aesthetician Kristi. She always does a great job and my skin is glowing after I see her. She also suggested a different laser for some concerns I had for my chest and the results were better than I had imagined.

I spent over a decade disliking my nose and feeling very insecure everyday. I finally decided to go through with a rhinoplasty and did lots of research to find a board certified surgeon. I came across Dr.Shapiro and knew he was the one I trusted. The consultation went smoothly and Dr.Shapiro confirmed he could give me what I wanted with the inspo photos. The day of surgery was fantastic, the anesthesiologist and nurses were all so kind and caring. I wanted to add extra kudos to Lori my nurse. She was the nicest nurse I’ve ever met and treated me like family. The entire office staff are incredible and very helpful, especially Alexis. The whole process went smoothly during recovery with very minimal bruising and not taking arnica. I’m only 11 days post op today and my final result isn’t going to be revealed until the 1 year mark but overall I’m beyond happy and grateful! I highly highly recommend Dr.Shapiro’s office to those considering a rhinoplasty. He provides a more natural approach that matches your face.

My daughter chose Dr. Shapiro for her rhinoplasty. She was 17 when we went for the initial consultation and 18 when she had the procedure. I was with her for every appointment. The experience was fantastic every step. Dr. Shapiro's office staff is very pleasant to deal with. Dr. Shapiro is very straightforward and honest. At one visit my daughter showed him pictures of noses she liked and one in particular he told her that he didn't think was a good fit for her and explained exactly why he was saying it. I loved that he didn't just agree with everything she said but was still very attentive to what she wanted. The surgery center was fantastic as well. He came in and talked with her before the surgery and then called me immediately after he was finished (due to construction we waited a block away at a coffee shop). He even texted me a picture of her new nose as soon as we finished speaking. Alexis (his amazing nurse) made sure my daughter knew all post op information and called to check on her afterwards. She is 5 months post surgery and is incredibly happy and has nothing but great things to say. Highly recommend Dr. Shapiro!!

Dr. Shapiro and his staff are exceptional! They made me feel extremely comfortable from the very beginning. I recently had a deep plane facelift and am overjoyed with the results. Most impressive, are his placement of scars, completely hidden in all places and within the hairline that are not noticeable. My healing process has been a short lived. Jamie is the best injector I have ever had. She gave me a jawline and chin that I have always wanted. These before and after pictures are within 2 hours of eachothers highly recommend! Everyone was very welcoming and kind.

This doctor and his staff are absolutely incredible! From the consult, to surgery and all throughout aftercare. My mother opted for a facelift along with fat transfer to her lips September 2025.

The consultation, was super simple using the link in his Instagram. Alexis is extremely knowledgeable, gave a lot of reassurance and was very supportive. Dr. Shapiro listened and answered every question and concern during the consultation. There are reviews about him being “arrogant” but they seem to have confused that with confidence. He is confident about what he can and can’t do. He sets very clear expectations and that’s the kind of doctor you need.
Joann and Allie made us feel welcome every visit! They always greeted us with a smile and made sure all questions regarding appointments and payment method were answered.

The nurses and anesthesiologist made my mom feel safe before going into surgery. They created an upbeat environment before getting her ready to take her back.

The recovery center nurses were so so kind. Unfortunately, my mom was feeling super nauseous after surgery. Although my mom was in and out of sleep, she vividly recalls them doing everything in their power to make her comfortable. They answered my phone calls and kept me updated during her time there.

Although there was a language barrier, his professionalism and kindness is something anyone can understand. Dr. Shapiro went above and beyond to make sure my mother was taken care of. Not only that but she LOVES her results. She looks like herself. Super natural and just stunning.
