Sage Hallman

R.N., BSN, SURGICAL NURSE / MEDICAL AESTHETIC SPECIALIST, NURSE INJECTOR

Sage Hallman, Shapiro Plastic Surgery - Scottsdale

After working as a registered nurse in many different surgical specialties and ultimately finding my passion in cosmetic surgery, I began working with Dr. Shapiro at our very own Paradise Valley Cosmetic Surgery Center in 2016. It was so rewarding working alongside Dr. Shapiro in the operating room which allowed me to see first-hand his meticulous technical precision and surgical expertise. When Dr. Shapiro asked me to join him as his private surgical nurse, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work for such a talented and caring surgeon.

I love that my knowledge of the operating room allows patients to feel comfortable and educated while making the decision to undergo cosmetic surgery and as much as I enjoyed my time in the operating room, it has been so rewarding working as his private surgical nurse. I’ve been specially trained in all aspects of the operating room and patient care; such as, infection control, post-op wound care, suture removal, drain removal, surgical implants and surgical garments. I enjoy creating lasting relationships with our patients, following their care throughout the surgical process and seeing Dr. Shapiro’s visions come to life. Sharing the excitement of the final result with our patients and Dr. Shapiro is the best part of my day!

I am excited to be offering serval non-invasive treatments to our patients like Votiva for cutting-edge feminine health, Morpheus8 for radio-frequency assisted skin tightening, Coolsculpting for a non-surgical fat reduction and Ultherapy for skin lifting and tightening using ultrasound energy. In 2019 I added Nurse Injector to my professional title after completing dozens of hours of hands on training and certification courses in neuro-modulators (Botox and Dysport) and soft-tissue fillers (Juvederm and Restylane). I enjoy helping our patients feel comfortable, safe, and excited; before, during and after their experience with our office.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Dear Patients:

Your safety is our number one priority. Please know that we join our community in taking advised precautions to limit the spread of the Coronavirus. For the time being we are planning on continuing practice as usual, with some additional precautions.

We have always routinely wiped down our office and patient exam chairs with medical-grade sanitizing wipes. We will expand this to include door knobs, toilet and faucet handles and will have hand-sanitizer available to you at check-in.

No staff will be allowed to come to work with a cough or fever, or if they have had contact with anyone with confirmed Coronavirus. We kindly ask for the same considerations from you. If you have any flu-like symptoms or have recently traveled, please call the office to reschedule your appointment.

We appreciate your flexibility as we will be limiting routine follow-up appointments over the next few weeks and ask patients to not bring friends and family members to their appointments to avoid the amount of patients we have in the office at one time. If you have any questions, comments or concerns please call and let us know.

Sincerely, Daniel Shapiro MD, FACS
